My visit to the dentist today inspired me to write this blog post.
This post is not about Dentist but I like to point something that gave me some thought at the Dental Practice.
I have not been to the dentist for a very long time until about three weeks ago when I started to feel uncomfortable in my right jaw. I had grown a wisdom tooth.
The first time I knew about wisdom tooth was when one of my church members got one extracted from the Dentist.
This article is about whether reclining chair is a good idea or not. Yes, I know
It is definitely a good idea to have a reclining chair because it will help you to sit in reclining position.
Research has shown that reclining position is the best way to sit because it help take load off the spine thereby helping relief stress and back pain.
Also, siting in reclining position help blood circulation which in turn help avoid swollen legs, toes and joint pain.
Stay with me for a moment. I want to make my point about the usefulness of recliner in helping relief back pain.
Are you still thinking what does this has to do with recliner and back pain?
Stay with me for a moment.
The pain in my jaw started slowly and later grew to be serious enough to keep me awake in the night.
The pain was so severe that I didn’t have any option than to book an appointment with the dentist. Eventually, the wisdom tooth was taken out, I now feel comfortable.
I had my second visit today for a follow-up check, I was asked to sit on the dentist recliner so the Dental Hygienist could check my teeth.
While I was lying down on the Dentist recliner I had a thought about the similarity with a normal recliner you would have at home.
It felt very comfortable and the thought of getting a recliner came to my mind.
I have sat on recliners in family and friends home before but I have to admit we don’t own one in our house.
After the dental hygienist finished her checking on my teeth I almost didn’t want to get up because of how comfortable I felt lying on the recliner.
Aside from the thought of owning a recliner I also thought about doing a little bit of research on how useful recliner will be for back pain relief.
As a back pain sufferer who has got better and always look for a way to prevent back pain, I have found out back pain help relief back pain.

More details of the benefits of reclining chairs
Pain and stress relief
There is no age restriction in the use of reclining chairs. It can benefit both young and old. Research has shown that most of our back pain is as a result of stress.
Sitting upright for too long could result in muscle stress and back pain. Most of us favour leaning back in our chairs for relaxation. Reclining chairs provide the opportunity to do this easily and as a result, we are relieved from stress and back pain.
Solving blood circulation
One of the benefits of reclining chairs is solving the problem of poor blood circulation.
Let’s face it, after sitting in the same position for a long time at work and also inside the car or public transport. Poor blood circulation could cause heavy feet and swollen joints.
Rise and Recline Chairs could help solve your poor blood circulation problem by keeping your legs elevated.
When your leg is elevated on a reclining chair, you will feel relax and comfortable.
Taking load off
There is a load on our spine when we are standing or sitting in an upright position. At the touch of button reclining chairs help us to lean backwards thereby helping to take some load off our spine.
The result of this is a great relief to our back.
